SELENITES is a band from Toulouse in the south of France. It all started in 2009 when they all met up in order to kick some asses and have a good time playing together. The five frenchies recorded their first album during fall 2009 and it was released in April 2010 on Debello Records (RIP) in the USA and on Lacrymal Recordings in Europe. « Jeder für sich und Gott gegen alle » is it’s name and it’s a boiling mixture of chaos, atmospheric, hardcore and metal music. They really wanted it heavy ! After touring in France, Belgium and Germany they finally got to record their new album in February 2011. The sound is bigger and heavier and the style may be a bit less chaotic hardcore and really more atmospheric and louder metal. The mastering was done at Globe Audio Mastering with Alexis Bardinet and Baptiste Bouchard so no worries about the good work !

SELENITES est un groupe de post-metal venant de Toulouse dans le sud de la France. Le groupe se forma en janvier 2009 des cendres de groupes de la scène metal-hardcore de Toulouse (Disphoria, Hate Me Tender, Another Bleeding Season, The Act of Fortune). Après plusieurs mois de concerts en France, SELENITES s’enferme en studio durant l’automne 2009 pour donner naissance à « Jeder für sich und Gott gegen alle » qui sortira en avril 2010 sur Debello Records aux Etats-Unis et sur Lacrymal Recordings en Europe. Après avoir accumulé deux tournées européennes au cour de l’année 2010, ils enregistrent leur second album en février 2011 toujours à Solstice Studio mais décident de faire son master chez Globe Audio avec Mr Bardinet. Aux relents moins noise-hardcore et sans aucun doute plus ambiant, « Animaltar » sortira en automne 2011 sur Ruin Your Fun (Bel.), Maximum Douglas (Fr.) et Moment of Collapse (Ger.). Il est aujourd’hui écoutable intégralement sur les plateformes Deezer, Spotify etc…
De nouvelles dates sont prévues dans le nord de la France courant décembre et leur fougue reste intacte pour l’année 2012 qui va venir !
